#PenPaddle2017 is 1 week away.

Peninsula Paddle

The time is nigh for concerned residents, researchers, officials, paddlers, SUPers and other citizens of Cape Town to paddle across the peninsula raising awareness of the poor state of our waterways! What better year to be involved in a cause educating the population about the need to care for our natural resources than this?

We are excited to announce that the Freshwater Research Centre will be joining the paddle this year. After we cross Princess Vlei, the educational branch of FRC, Living Labs will have a freshwater science exhibition available for participants, their supporters and bystanders to view and experience. Make sure that if you’re a seconder or were planning to come and support that you include this in your days itinerary as this will most definitely be a highlight of the paddle in 2017.
