Best Coast Bonsai is owned and operated by Tom Ulecki. It is a small, well curated garden specializing in high quality bonsai trees, ceramics and wire. Tom, who apprenticed at Kouka-en in Osaka, Japan opened Best Coast Bonsai right here in Vancouver in 2018. At Best Coast, you can expect to see a good variety of tree species from raw stock right up to finished bonsai, styled by Tom. He also imports very good quality bonsai pots from Japan, as well as hand crafting ceramics himself. An on site kiln allows Ulecki to offer unique glazes and annealed copper wire.
