Following Barbara’s article, we will hold a Migratory Birds Challenge which will take place over the month of November.
Entrants, either as individuals, or in teams of two, will be require to identify as many migratory birds as possible within a day’s drive from Hermanus, i.e. you may only count birds that you see during a day trip – no overnight stops, which could greatly increase your range.
I will devise a results sheet, however, you will be required to keep your own list until such time as this is available.
Please lets have a good turn out. I know you are all keen to get back birding again, and this will be a good exercise in getting to know the migrant species.
