John Saunders received this letter, which he asked me to publicise;
Hope this finds you well. It will be appreciated if you would forward this information to your members and request them to get potential novice birders involved in this effort. This is in view of getting more people involved in bird-watching as a hobby and to possibly join bird clubs.
The Covic-19 lockdown period had certainly given us new and exciting perspectives on birds and birding – particularly as far as garden birds are concerned. This had prompted the development of six online bird identification and appreciation courses to get more people involved in bird-watching as a hobby. The contents of our various courses have been adapted for six shorter courses each consisting of five individual one-hour sessions. These are being presented as webinars via Zoom and can be enjoyed in the comfort of your home.
