Recently, I received a call out of the blue from a lady who wanted to find a home for her late husband’s collection of bonsai pots. Among them were a couple Max Braverman pots from his Pine Garden Pottery days; his Seattle-area workshop where he made bonsai pots between 1986-1998.
The first pot is a shallow oval, cream glaze with brown speckle, 8″x7″x1″
The second is a beautiful Namako blue glaze, with a hint of purple on one side. 7 1/8″x2″
