Location: Devonian Islands, Regina

Interesting facts:

– Cedar waxwings can fly at 40 kilometres an hour at an altitude of 2,000 feet.

– They enjoy eating cones from the Eastern Redcedar tree, giving them their name.

– Occasionally cedar waxwings will eat overripe, fermented  fruit causing them to become intoxicated.

– Is one of the few birds whose diet consists mainly of fruit.
