Working on Pete's willow leaf ficus grouping. That's how you build ramification and taper: grow, cut, grow, cut. Always cutting below the ideal height and letting it fill back in. That's the lesson in late winter/early spring. You may be enjoying all the twigginess now, but your tree will be overgrown after the first flush. Cut it back before it pushes.
