I’ve often paused and bathed in the slice of heaven where I now live… Wimberley. I marvel at Nature and my new rural surroundings. Today, was no less humbling. A mere 4 miles from my house is Mt Baldy.
I ascended the 200+ steps, listening to Bewick’s wrens, Black Crested Titmice, Carolina Chickadees and Eastern Phoebes along the way. And now, here I sit…on top of the world. The views are calming and only disturbed by the motorized vehicle sounds that float up to me.
I currently have this summit to myself and it brings peace to my soul. Yes. I have found heaven on Earth and took the time to bathe in it.
