A Texas ebony (ebanopsis ebano, it used to be called pithecellobium flexicaule) love the bark and the branch growth. Hate the thorns, it’s one of the only trees where the thorns are small, sharp, and mean enough to get into my fingers and stay. It’s styled in a desert/pseudo-flattop deciduous style #mybonsaiworld #bonsai #trees #floridabonsai #nativebonsai
