I had the honor of helping Karen Harkaway, the President of ABS, in choosing this composition for the American Bonsai Society Award at the Winter Silhouette show this last weekend. It is made up of one of my favorite native species, American hornbeam. Presented by Gary Clark. And yes, that’s fake snow. Cool! #wintersilhouette2017 #americanbonsai #trees #bonsai
