Bonsai at RHS Chelsea, London, May 2016

I have wanted to see the Royal Horticultural Society’s annual show in London for a long time.  This year I finally achieved my wish and with my husband, also a bonsai enthusiast, we made our way to the bonsai exhibits and snapped a few photographs to share the experience with others. It was mainly very large trees on display and a lot of interest was being shown by the crowds.  There were three exhibitor stands and I have divided up this report accordingly. .
Part 1:  Derbyshire Bonsai
It was here that I bumped into Austin, a fellow member of Leicestershire Bonsai Club who was also viewing the stand with his wife.  Small world.  Derbyshire is a near neighbour to Leicestershire, both counties being located in the East Midlands region.
